Michael Winter DDS, MD is originally from Melville, New York, recently relocated to West Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Winter completed his undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo Honors College, earning a Biomedical Sciences Degree in just three years, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class, distinguished by his achievements in research in implantology and surgical guide accuracy. Following dental school, Dr. Winter pursued rigorous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Mount Sinai Hospital and Jacobi Medical Center, where he earned his Medical Degree from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and served as the Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both Mount Sinai West Hospitals and Jacobi Medical Center.
Throughout his training, Dr. Winter was mentored by leading experts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, specializing in complex reconstructive jaw surgery and patient-specific customized surgical procedures. His dedication to his craft is evident in his diverse skill set, including expertise in tooth extractions, sedation, implant placement, facial trauma, and corrective and reconstructive jaw surgery.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Winter enjoys spending time with his wife, Danielle, their son, Aiden, and their French Bulldog, Franklin. He loves the outdoors, particularly hiking, and has a passion for hosting gatherings and cooking with friends.
