Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr.Romo completed his dental degree in Spain. On his 4th year of dental school he received a European Union scholarship which allowed him to spend 1 year in Portugal at one of the leading dental schools in Europe. After working in the UK for a year, he was admitted into New York University School of Dentistry where he did a clinical fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with heavy emphasis on Implant surgery and bone grafting. He went after on working as general dentist in CT and FL but he was so passionate about Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery that after being accepted for 1 year internship at University of Maryland Medical Center he was granted with the opportunity to complete the residency program. He graduated in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2021.He is very interested in New implant Surgery technologies, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia and he also enjoys oral pathology.
As small piece of information, he is a big soccer fan, he played in the youth league for one of the mayor soccer teams in Spain at the age of 10-12. He loves spending time with his wife traveling around the world.
